Who might benefit from prayers in audio format:
- Those who cannot read.
— Beginners who learn to read correctly in Church Slavonic (in parallel with their own reading, an audio recording is turned on for the first time).
- People with very poor vision or sore eyes who have not yet learned these prayers by heart.
— Traveling on public transport.
— A housewife who was so busy with her children and housework that she didn’t have time to get up and pray calmly. You can include these prayers and do some household chores, and be with the Lord with your mind. In this case, the most ordinary things, the vanity of everyday life, will become spiritually useful for us. But it is still advisable to have at least a short prayer rule in the morning and evening, and during the day to pray the Jesus Prayer.
Another thing is that we should not abuse this opportunity. Replacing personal prayer with listening to a recording is not a good thing. A healthy person can replace personal prayer by listening to a recorded prayer only in force majeure circumstances. But if our personal prayer is complemented and supplemented by listening, this can only be welcomed.
May God help us never to be separated from Him in our minds, if possible.
