Lord! Let us see our sins, and let our minds, drawn to attention by our own sins, cease to see the sins of our neighbors, and so let all our neighbors be good will see. Grant to our hearts the destructive concern for the infirmities of our neighbor, but all care must be taken into account for the acquisition of purity and holiness, which You have commanded and prepared for us, aggregate. Grant to us, who have defiled the garments of our souls, to make them white again: having already been washed with the waters of Baptism, now, having been defiled, we demand to be washed with the tearful waters. Grant us to see, in the light of Thy grace, the various ailments that live within us, the spiritual movements in the heart that consume, the movements of the blood and the flesh, hostile to the kingdom of God, in it is introducing. Give us the great gift of repentance, the great gift of seeing our sins before and after us. Protect us with these great gifts on our path to You and allow us to reach You, those who recognize themselves as sinners who call and imagine themselves righteous to be those who reject, so that we may praise Him eternally in bliss Eternal to You, the One True God, the captive Redeemer, the lost Savior.
