Lord our God, Creator of heaven and earth, who created man and gave him the knowledge of hidden wisdom, in order to glorify Your name, woe and sorrow are You, Yours. There is night and Yours is day, even fleeting movements of thoughts will not hide before You.

And now I pray to You, save me from all sin as I begin to work with the ingenious creation of human hands, penetrating to all the ends of the earth.

Protect my eyes and my mind from all unclean and prodigal images, from empty and worthless words.

Strengthen your will, cleanse your heart, do not let me waste the time of my life in vain, and deliver me from all relaxation and despondency.

May our deeds be for Your glory!

Amen.
