Confirm me, Lord, in this true faith, even confession; and grant to me, having hated all my life, to have a heart for You, and to worthily praise Your all-holy name, the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, now and ever and unto the ages of ages. Amen.
Son of God, Eternal Light and give light to everyone! Have mercy on me, enlighten the eyes of my heart through the darkness of sins and darkened passions, just as you enlightened the blind who cried out to You. May the eyes of my heart be opened, so that I may see You, the Light that never sets, and may I follow You with faith and love, for the sake of the accursed One who walked the earth. Amen.
