In the Lower Danube Archdiocese, the pilgrimage began with the miracle-working Icon of the Mother of God from the Adam Monastery, Galați county, a manifestation that has become traditional. During the Lent of the Assumption, the holy scent reaches over 150 parishes from the five archdiocese of the Lower Danube Archdiocese.

On Wednesday evening, the icon will be placed in the Precise Church in the city of Galati, where it will stay overnight, with the Holy Liturgy.

On Thursday, the icon arrives in the Protoieria Brăila, to be placed in honor at the "St. Archangels" Parish in the center of the Brăila municipality, where it will stay overnight, with Vigil services and the Holy Liturgy.

The icon will be present between August 7-9 in the Deanery of Covurlui, then it will arrive at the "Tudor Vladimirescu" Monastery in Galați county around 10:30 p.m., where the Vigil service will be held.

On Saturday, August 8, at the Cudalbi monastery in Galaţi, the icon will arrive around 9:00 p.m. and the service will be celebrated...
