Diaconal Ordination takes place in Mchenery Parish

MCHENERY, IL [DOM] – On Saturday, August 1, the feast of St. Seraphim of Sarov, His Eminence Archbishop Daniel, Archbishop of Chicago and the Diocese of the Midwest, made an archpastoral visit to St. Nicholas of Myra Church, McHenry, IL.

Archbishop Daniel was joined by Mitered Archpriest Volodymyr Kovalchuk, Rector, and visiting clergy.

During Divine Liturgy, a parishioner was ordained to the Diaconate. Following the divine services, a festive meal was held in the hall.
