Ecumenical Patriarchate to celebrate Feast of Saint Solomoni

The Ecumenical Patriarchate will commemorate the feast of Saint Solomoni with solemn services at the Patriarchal Church of Saint George at the Phanar, where a sacred relic of the Saint is kept.
According to an announcement by the Ecumenical Patriarchate, on the eve of the feast, Friday, July 31, 2026, a festal Vespers service will be celebrated at 4:30 p.m., presided over by Metropolitan Meliton of Philadelphia.
On the following day, Saturday, August 1, the feast day of Saint Solomoni, the Divine Liturgy will be celebrated with Metropolitan Meliton of Philadelphia presiding.
Throughout the celebrations, the sacred relic of Saint Solomoni will be placed for the faithful to pay their respects in the solea of the Patriarchal Church.
