Bishop Vincent consecrated crosses for the church in Pologrudovotranslated

Bishop Vikenty of Tara and Tyukalinsky performed the rite of consecration of newly built crosses and domes for the church under construction in honor of St. Nicholas of Serbia in the village of Pologrudovo, Tara district.

The archpastor was accompanied by the secretary of the Tara diocesan administration and the dean of the Tara district, priest Mikhail Safichuk. Bishop Vincent sprinkled the crosses with holy water and blessed further work on the construction of the church.

The archpastor expressed special gratitude to the family of Vladimir and Natalia Khomchenko, who throughout the entire construction set an example of zealous care for the house of God, sacrificially investing their strength, soul and means in a good cause. Other local residents also joined their good cause.

In conclusion, Bishop Vincent congratulated those gathered and wished all the workers abundant help from God.

It’s good that the crosses have already been blessed. The Khomchenko family is great, they have been investing both their soul and money for so many years, we wish there were more of them. I wonder when the domes will be installed on the church?

It is good that Bishop Vikenty has already consecrated both crosses and domes. Khomchenka are really well done, how many years have they been carrying the entire structure. I wonder if the domes themselves will soon be raised to the roof?
