Support for large families, attention to motherhood and fatherhood, and the preservation of family traditions remain important areas of the Church’s public service. With the blessing of His Eminence Stefan, Archbishop of Gomel and Zhlobin, the Gomel diocese joined the republican project “Tretsi - Father”.

On August 5, 2026, at the Information Department of the Gomel Diocese, a meeting was held with families in which a third child had recently been born.

The mothers were congratulated on the birth of their children by the Chairman of the Information Department of the Gomel Diocese, Archpriest Oleg Kostroma, and the Chairman of the Gomel Central Branch of the Belarusian Party "White Rus'" Olga Aleksandrovna Dotsenko.

Archpriest Oleg Kostroma conveyed words of congratulations from Archbishop Stefan and presented children's kits.

Olga Aleksandrovna Dotsenko presented “Father’s Kashul” - the main symbol of the project.

“Treci – Father” is a national project of the Belarusian party “White Rus'”, launched on June 1, 2026, International Children’s Day.
