Gabriela GheorghiuI carefully read the beginning of the article and it seemed very true what it says about how we immediately look for a culprit when we suffer. Last year, when my younger boy had severe pneumonia, the first thought was "what did I do wrong?". Then I remembered that Job never got a clear answer, only God's presence. Thank you for this simple and honest text.

Ilie IonescuYes, I went through this with my little girl when she had a nasty ear infection - the first impulse is to ask yourself "where did I go wrong as a parent?". The story of Job really helps not to look for guilt where God does not give it to us. Thanks for sharing your experience, Gabriela.
