Emma ParkerMrs. Petrovich makes Kabanes every Lent at our St. Nicholas - I remember her doing it last year when we had the choir rehearsal after Vespers.

Paweł NowakOur grandmother in Białystok also made kabana during Lent, but with cabbage and without meat. I wonder if Argiros tried them after the liturgy, just like we did after the service. Mrs. Petrovich probably has her own proven recipe.
ლელა ნოზაძეIn our Telavi, my mother makes kabane every year during Lent, in the old way, without meat and with lots of spices. I wonder if Argyros really tasted it or just took a photo. And Petrovich's recipe is really reliable, everyone praised it last year.

Photini CampbellMrs. Petrovich’s kabanes are the real deal— I’ve had them at coffee hour after Presanctified last year and they hit the spot with a bit of lemon. Does she still make the big batch for the whole parish or is it just for choir nights now?

Daniel BakerThose kabanes really are spot on with the lemon squeeze. I remember Mrs. Petrovich bringing a huge tray to last year’s St. Nicholas feast and they disappeared in minutes. Does she still do the big parish batch or has it scaled back?
