The right hand of Saint Basil the Great will be brought to Romania for the first timetranslated

The faithful in Romania will be able to worship, for the first time, the right hand of the Holy Hierarch Basil the Great, which will be brought to the Episcopal Cathedral in Alexandria between August 28 and September 2.
The reliquary with the holy relics will be brought by His Holiness Father Nicodim Scopelu, Vicar Bishop of the Archdiocese of Athens (Orthodox Church of Greece).
The bringing of the relics takes place in the context of the consecration of the "Saint Hierarch Alexander" Episcopal Cathedral in Alexandria and the 30th anniversary of the establishment of the Diocese of Alexandria and Teleormanu.
The Most Reverend Father Nicodim Scopelu will serve, together with the Most Reverend Father Teofan, Metropolitan of Moldavia and Bucovina, and the Most Reverend Father Sebastian, Bishop of Slatina and Romanians, at the Episcopal Cathedral in Alexandria on August 30 and September 1.
