The 7th World Congress of Cretans has concluded in Chania - Powerful messages for Education, Culture, and the Future of Cretetranslated

The work of the 7th World Congress of Cretans, which brought together representatives of the Cretan community from all over the world, institutional bodies, scientists, academics, representatives of self-government and civil society, was concluded with particular success in Chania, with the common goal of shaping a modern vision for the Crete of today and tomorrow. The last two days of the Conference were dedicated to the thematic sections "Education and Culture" and "Inclusion, Social Responsibility and Volunteering", highlighting the decisive role played by people, values and cultural identity in the sustainable development of the island.
During the third day of work, leading academics, people of letters and culture, educators and representatives of the Community developed a fruitful dialogue around the challenges facing education, cultural heritage and the preservation of Cretan identity in the modern era.
