Fr. Cosmin Pricop participated in the meeting of the most prestigious association of neotestamental studiestranslated

Father Cosmin Pricop, dean of the "Justinian Patriarch" Faculty of Orthodox Theology of the University of Bucharest, participated in the 80th annual meeting of the Studiorum Novi Testamenti Societas (SNTS), the most prestigious international association dedicated to New Testament studies.

The event took place from July 28 to August 1, at the University of Durham (Great Britain), under the chairmanship of Prof. Adele Reinhartz from the University of Ottawa (Canada).

"During the anniversary meeting, seven plenary lectures were given and three lectures in each of the 18 thematic seminars, dedicated to various aspects of the scientific research of the New Testament, such as: textual criticism of the New Testament, apocryphal reception, papyrology, epigraphy and numismatics, Greek philosophy and early Christianity", the dean told the Lumina newspaper.

Member of the SNTS since 2017, father Cosmin Daniel Pricop offered an academic response to a paper given in the seminar dedicated to the Johnic writings of the New Testament.
