"The strong man is not the self-sufficient one, who can and solves everything, but the man who leaves space for God and trusts that He can work miracles in his life," Bishop Benedict of Sălaj emphasized on Sunday at the Episcopal Cathedral in Zalău.

His Eminence drew attention to the contemporary man's desire to control everything that happens around him.

"In the Gospel (n.r. from the 9th Sunday after Pentecost) we are dealing with professional people, with fishermen who knew the course of the water, and yet there is an important area that they cannot master. The Lord gives this lesson to us as well, to those who have the impression that we can coordinate and predict everything. The hierarch emphasized that man needs to understand that he cannot do it alone, even if he is very good at what he does.
