With particular splendor and ecclesiastical grandeur, the feast commemorating the Holy Venerable Virgin-Martyr Saint Paraskevi the Athletress was celebrated on Sunday, July 26, 2026, at the festal Churches of Saint Paraskevi in the Communities of Therapeia and Vathyrryakos, belonging to the Holy Metropolis of Derkoi.

On the afternoon of Saturday, July 25, the Festal Vespers Service was celebrated at the Holy Metropolitan Church of Saint Paraskevi in Therapeia, presided over by Bishop Paisios of Xanthoupolis. Olivier MoreauI liked that Artoklasia was celebrated during the Divine Liturgy in Therapeia, it always gives a family touch to the celebration. Too bad the text stops short on the guests, I would have liked to know if other consuls or parishioners from Strasbourg were there. Thank you for this news from Derkoi.

Lukas WeberYes, the Artoklasia makes the liturgy much more heartfelt, I know that from our holidays here too. It's a shame that the report stops with the guests - I would also like to know whether anyone else from the community or from further afield came. Was Metropolitan Apostolos in Therapeia all day?

Sotir NakoI did like that the Artoklasia was combined with the Liturgy in Therapeia, it gives it a warm homely feel. Even here in Korça, we often do it for big holidays. What did you hear about the part that was cut after the Greek consul, was it another delegation?

Gjergj DhimaYes, the Artoklasia together with the Liturgy really makes you feel like you are in the kitchen at home after Mass. In Tirana we usually do it for Saint Parashkevi, but not every time. I heard nothing about the other delegation, only Mr. Mamalos was mentioned; what do you think, was there any group from greece?

Łukasz KowalskiIn my place in Białystok, Artoklasia always adds that homely atmosphere, especially when we divide the bread after the Liturgy. It's a pity that the article ends at Consul Mamalos, I wonder if there was anyone from local parishioners or from further communities. And do you often have this connection with Matutin in Derkoi?
