On the day of Peter and Paul, Tashtagol residents held a religious procession to the holy springtranslated

On July 12, 2026, on the day of remembrance of the supreme apostles Peter and Paul, the Divine Liturgy was celebrated in the Cathedral of the Great Martyr George the Victorious in the city of Tashtagol. The service was led by the rector of the church, Archpriest John Gensiruk, co-served by the full-time cleric Priest Vladimir Neunyvakhin.
At the end of the liturgy, a traditional religious procession took place to the spring, consecrated in honor of the holy apostles Peter and Paul. Accompanied by the magnificent singing of the choir, the parishioners proceeded to the source located on the banks of the Kondoma River. Here a small consecration of water was performed, after which all those praying received a pastoral blessing and were sprinkled with holy water.
Returning to the cathedral, the parishioners shared a festive meal.
The solemn day ended with an important event: the Sacrament of Wedding was performed on parishioners Simeon Leonov and Sofia Panchenko. The young couple received a blessing to study at the Kuzbass Theological Seminary. The parishioners congratulated the newlyweds and wished them God's help in their family life and studies.
