Diaspora Days in Romania: RePatriot dedicates over 40 events to Romanians abroadtranslated

In August, the community of Romanian entrepreneurs RePatriot organizes over 40 events dedicated to Romanians abroad, as part of the "Diaspora Days" initiative.

According to a press release sent by RePatriot, the campaign launched ten years ago is based on the belief that "Romanians who have gone abroad should not be looked for only when they return on vacation or during electoral campaigns, but should be considered a living part of the communities they come from and one of the most important resources for Romania's development".

The Month of the Romanian Diaspora The first communities that responded to the community's call are Satu Mare, Iași, Piatra-Neamț, Cluj, Maramureș, Bistrița and Bucharest, and other towns will soon announce their programs. The organizers invite the Romanians who return to the country during this period "to participate and interact as much as possible with the local and central administrations and to express their ideas".
