The Pilgrimage of the German Saints has begun: Approximately 200 young people travel hundreds of kilometerstranslated

On Friday, 110 young people from Iași set off on the Pilgrimage of the Nemț Saints, to the Ceahlău Monastery in Neamț County, to participate in the services dedicated to the Nemț Saints.

The total number will be approximately 200 participants, who will cover the following routes – approximately 35 kilometers per day:

Iasi – Neamț Monastery – Ceahlău – Sihla Monastery (July 31 – August 7); Botoșani – Neamț Monastery – Ceahlău – Sihla Monastery; Piatra Neamț – Neamț Monastery – Ceahlău – Sihla Monastery; Pipirig – Neamț Monastery – Ceahlău.

The pilgrims' first stop will be at the "Veniamin Costachi" Theological Seminary at Neamț Monastery, where they will take part in the feast of Saint John Jacob of Neamț (August 5).

Blessing on departure From the early hours of the morning, the young people participated in the Holy Liturgy celebrated at the Church of the "Holy Martyr Gheorghe" in Iași, then they set off for Mount Ceahlău.
