Program for the Celebration of Names of Metropolitan Artis Kallinikostranslated

On Saturday August 8, 2026, our Holy Church honors the memory of Saint Kallinikos, Bishop of Edessa the Miracle Worker. On the occasion of the holiday, the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Artis, Mr. Kallinikos, leads his nomenclature. The Holy Diocese of Artis announces that on Friday, August 7, at 7 p.m., in the Parish Church of Agios Maximos of Greek Arta, the Polyarchy Vespers will be held, while on Saturday, August 8, at 7:00 am, the Orthros and the Polyarchy Divine Liturgy will be held.

Those devout Christians who wish can come and participate in the holy services, in order to honor the memory of Saint Kallinikos. During the holy services, a fragment of the holy relic of Agios Kallinikos will be placed in veneration, for the blessing and sanctification of the faithful.

It is noted that His Holiness will not accept wishes in the Episcopate.
