Metropolis of Kydonia: Prayer for the repose of the souls of the Firefighters who lost their lives in the line of dutytranslated

On Thursday, July 30, 2026, at the Holy Church of the Transfiguration of the Lord in the Huts of Apokoronos, the second Priestly Synod of the Holy Metropolis of Kydonia and Apokoronos took place. At the beginning of the Synagogue, Trisay was performed for the repose of the souls of the firefighters Pantelis Diamantakis, 25 years old, Manolis Stratidakis, 58 years old, and Konstantinou Lairosetis, 27 years old, who lost their lives while on duty, fighting the flames. The clergy present prayed for the repose of their souls and for the consolation and strengthening of their families and loved ones.
