In the Holy Church of Agia Anna Agiokampo Larisis Ieronymostranslated

With the blessing and permission of the Most Reverend Metropolitan Dimitrias and Almyros, Mr. Ignatius, the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Larissa and Tyrnavos, Mr. Ieronymos, went on the afternoon of the Despotic Feast of the Transfiguration, Thursday, August 6, 2026, to the Holy Church of Agia Anna Agiokampo, in the holiday settlement of the same name, where he performed the Midsummer Vespers of the Despotic Feast of the Transfiguration and the Great Supplication to the Most Holy Theotokos. It should be reminded that Agiokambos, a holiday settlement of the Municipality of Agia, belongs ecclesiastically to the Holy Metropolis of Dimitrias and Almyros. The Most Reverend Metropolitan of Larissa and Tyrnavos, Mr. Hieronymos, went to Agiokambos due to the fact that the vast majority of vacationers come from Larissa.

In his sermon, His Eminence referred to the Feast of the Transfiguration, to the glory of God which is manifested during the Feast and at the same time is offered to man, as the human nature of Christ becomes familiar to it. It is not offered unconditionally, but under the condition set by God the Father when, referring to the Son, he says "to him you listen".
