The celebration of Saint Paraskevi, the Patron Saint of Chalkidiki, is universaltranslated

Its patron saint, Saint Paraskevi, was honored by Chalkida during the two days of July 25 and 26, 2026, with a pandemonium of faithful Chalkidians and a touching participation of passing pilgrims. Due to the restoration and renovation works that continue and are nearing completion, in the early Christian Parish Church of the patron saint, the site of this year's celebration, for the fourth consecutive year, was the Metropolitan Church of Saint Dimitrios Chalkidos.

Despite this, the temporary local transfer did not prevent multitudes of Chalcidians and Christians from the surrounding municipalities from flocking and worshiping the miraculous holy icon and the fragment of the holy relics of Saint Paraskevi, in order to receive grace and strength from God, through the embassies of their patron saint.
