The Most Reverend Metropolitan of Paronaxia, Mr. Kallinikos, went on the afternoon of Tuesday, August 4, 2026, to the Holy Parish Church of Panagia Pantanassi Naousis Paros, where he officiated during Vespers and the Holy Service of the Canon of Prayer to the Blessed Virgin Mary. The Reverend Pastor was flanked by the Preacher of the Holy Diocese of Paronaxia, Archimandrite Fr. Arsenios Melissianos (who also preached the divine word) and the familiar Vicar Protopresbyter Fr. Christos Fournistakis.

Before the "Two wishes", His Holiness gave a suitable wish to the congregation.

Thanks for the post. Father Arsenios always says something simple but that sticks, I was glad he preached. And Panagia Pantanassa in Naoussa is so close to our hearts here in Cyprus, I hope many will go next year as well.

Thanks for the news. It is pleasant to see that Metropolitan Kallinikos himself led the service in this particular church of Panagia Pantanassa. Father Arseny always speaks so simply, but it is memorable, just as Nίκη wrote. Here in New York we also love such evening paraklisis in August.
