Earthquake of 3.7 Richter near Karyes of Mount Athostranslated

A 3.7 Richter earthquake occurred at 11:30 am on Tuesday (28/7) in Mount Athos. According to the Geophysics Laboratory of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, the epicenter of the earthquake is located fifteen kilometers northwest of Kary, while, as it became known, it was a surface earthquake. The estimates of seismologists speak of an activity similar to that recorded in recent months on the Athos peninsula and monitored by scientists.
