The US Ambassador to the Monastery of Ormyliatranslated

The US Ambassador to Greece, Kimberly Guilfoyle, recently visited the Holy Congregation of the Annunciation of the Virgin in Ormylia, Halkidiki. In the context of her visit, Mrs. Guilfoil met with the Professor of the Holy Monastery of Simonos Petras, Elder Elissaio, the Prioress of the Monastery, Gerodisssa Nikodimis and the sisters of the Monastery as well as the dedicated volunteers Dr. Dumas and Kyriakos Antoniou.

"The visit highlighted the collaborations of American centers, for more than a decade, with the Foundation, among others with the Lombardi Cancer Center of Georgetown, the University of Pennsylvania and Emory University, confirming that the United States-Greece ties are strengthened not only through diplomacy, but also through a shared commitment to compassion, healing and faith," the US Embassy announcement states.
