With due ecclesiastical splendor and in an atmosphere of spiritual joy, the great Despotic feast of the Transfiguration of the Lord was celebrated in the Apostolic Holy Metropolis of Corinth. On the eve of the feast, Wednesday August 5, 2026, the Most Reverend Metropolitan of Corinth, Mr. Pavlos officiated at the Solemn Vespers at the celebratory Church of the Transfiguration of the Savior of Corinth, praying together with the holy clergy and the large congregation, which came to celebrate the great Despotic feast.

The procession was attended by the Mayor of Corinth, Mr. Nikolaos Stavrelis, the President of the Chamber of Corinth, Mr. Panagiotis Louziotis, Municipal Councilors and other representatives of the local authorities.

On the day of the feast, Thursday, August 6, 2026, His Eminence officiated at Orthros and presided over the High Priestly Divine Liturgy at the celebrating Transfiguration Church of Sotiros Kiatos.
