Prayer to the Most Holy Theotokos in front of the Holy Icon of Our Lady of the Life-giving Spring in Edipsostranslated

On Friday, August 7, 2026, in the Holy Church of Agios Panteleimonos Loutron Edipsos, Vespers and the Holy Prayer to the Most Holy Theotokos were celebrated, in view of the great feast of the Assumption of the Theotokos. During the Holy Prayer, the ancient and miraculous Holy Icon of Panagia Zoodochos Pigi, a copy of the miraculous Icon of Panagia Kykkos of Cyprus, which is the property of the Holy Private Church of Panagia Zoodochos Pigi of the Parish of Yaltron Evia, was placed in veneration. The faithful came reverently to worship the Holy Icon and to present before the Virgin Mary their prayers, supplications and thanksgivings.

The participation of the choir of the Parish Catechetical Synagogues was special and moving, which performed the hymns of the Holy Prayer, under the direction of Protopresbyter Fr. Christos Ngela, contributing to the overwhelming atmosphere of the Congregation.
