The Sunday of Orthodoxy was celebrated with solemnity and according to the current liturgical order in the Metropolitan Holy Church of the Assumption of the Most Holy Theotokos, officiated by our Reverend Pastor Mr. Kyrillos and co-celebrants of the Theophilest Bishop of Olympos Mr. Kyrillos, the Protosignal of the Holy Metropolis Fr. Theonas Kamberis, of the Reverend of the Holy Church Fr. Isidoros Pafiakis and the Deacons Fr. Nikiforos Giannikos and Titos Sotirakis. The MPs Manos Konsolas and Vassilios Ypsilantis were present, as well as representatives of the city authorities. Before the dismissal, the customary litany of the holy Icons and holy Relics was performed around the holy Church, played by the 95ADTE Philharmonic, and the relevant passage of the Synod of Orthodoxy was read. After the end of the Litany, upon entering the holy Temple, the holy Clergy, the Hyeropsalts and the faithful chanted "Tis Τεὸς Megas..." and the Absolution followed. It was good that there was a litany with icons and relics around the church, we also do this in Gdańsk and I always feel that something real is happening. And what exactly did the bishop say about the fact that truth is not ideas but a living relationship with Christ? I would love to read these words.
