With enthusiasm and the prayerful participation of the faithful, the Supplications of Our Lady are celebrated throughout the Holy Metropolis of Aetolia and Acarnania from Sunday, August 2, 2026. The Most Reverend Metropolitan of Aetolia and Acarnania, Mr. Damaskinos, in the first week of August 15, visited the parishes of the Archpriestly Region of Makrynia.

Specifically, on Monday, August 3, he performed the Order of the Prayer Rule at the Holy Church of Agia Paraskevi, Trichoni, and on Tuesday, August 4, at the Holy Church of Agios Dimitrios, Ano Zevgaraki.
