The message of the Metropolitan of Mesogaia for Augusttranslated

"The passing of the Virgin Mary from this world is a passage of silence, modesty, humility and quietness," says the Metropolitan of Mesogaia and Lavreotiki Mr. Nikolaou in his message for August, the month of the Virgin Mary. His Eminence's message:
The passage of the Virgin Mary from this world is a passage of silence, modesty, humility and quietness.
In the descriptions of the saints and the holy Gospels, there are no speeches or verbal expressions of the Virgin Mary, but not even in the Acts of the Apostles do we find references to her life. What exists are only a few references to apocryphal gospels. There are no words of the Virgin Mary, no actions, elements of her life, specific events, but only very simple subtle references to her divine and holy person. But as silent as she was in her earthly life, so rich in speech before the throne of God is our Virgin Mary.
And while the same is not expressed in words, the gospel passage, which is read on its holidays, says "blessed are those who hear the word of God and keep it".
The Virgin Mary, and that is why this passage is chosen, is the person par excellence of divine hearing...
