Father wrote well, especially on how to ask about personal matters without confusing the priest. It has happened to me to wait half an hour after the service to ask something simple about my child and feel that I am keeping him from his work. It might help to have a specific time each week for such questions.

You're right, Michalis. I, too, have waited after Mass at St. George's and then I feel guilty that Father hasn't had breakfast yet. It is good to write about exactly that - not to confuse the person with personal questions just when he is in a hurry. Maybe there should be a set time for such conversations, eh?

Totally agree with both of them. I, too, have waited after mass to ask the priest something about my son who is in college, and I end up feeling bad because I know he hasn't had breakfast yet. The fixed schedule for personal consultations seems like a practical idea to me, I hope they organize it in the parish.

Here in Novi Sad, after the liturgy in St. It's often the same for Georgi - you wait to ask about your son, and you see that the father hasn't even drunk his coffee yet. It's good that someone wrote this, maybe it would really help to designate one day a week for such conversations, so that we don't feel guilty. What do you think, would it work for you?
