Blessed Father Daniel, Patriarch of the Romanian Orthodox Church, sent a message of condolences at the funeral service of Father Mihai Marian Băzăvan (1951-2026) held on Friday at the Church of the Ascension in Ploiesti.
"Father Mihai Marian stood out through his love for believers in need, supporting both the young and the old, and as a spiritual father of hundreds of believers," the Patriarch of Romania said.
"He proved to be a pious priest, respected and appreciated by believers and confreres, a communicative man, endowed with a fine perception of community values."
