Representatives of the Tevriz youth movement “Nika” took part in the National Procession of the Cross in Omsktranslated

On July 26, 2026, on the eve of the Day of the Baptism of Rus', activists of the Orthodox youth movement “Nika” from Tevriz joined the National Procession of the Cross, held in Omsk. Participation in the celebrations, which united thousands of believers, became for the children a vivid evidence of the unity of the Church and the common joy of the holiday.

The Nika youth association was created with the blessing of Bishop Vikenty of Tara and Tyukalinsk. Pupils of the movement diligently carry out church obedience: they help at the altar, learn to ring bells, and also read and sing during services in the church.

Activists lead an active parish life, making a significant contribution to the development of Orthodox youth in the Tevriz deanery.
