On August 1, 2026, on the feast of the discovery of the relics of St. Seraphim, the Wonderworker of Sarov (1903), His Holiness Patriarch Kirill of Moscow and All Rus' celebrated the Divine Liturgy at the Holy Trinity Seraphim-Diveevo Convent. St. Seraphim became a great saint of God for all of Russia in the most difficult times, at the turning point of our history. At a time when godlessness began to develop in the consciousness of our intelligentsia and penetrate deep into people’s life, he became the force that undoubtedly weakened the onslaught of the devil’s godless power.

There were no opportunities, either spiritual or otherwise, not only for St. Seraphim, but also for all the saints who shone in the Russian land to stop the approaching storm, the approaching terrible turning point in the life of our people and country. But, apparently, such was the will of God...
