August 1, 2026 · 1 min read

On July 31, on the eve of the day of remembrance of the transfer of the relics of St. Seraphim of Sarov, a solemn all-night vigil was held at the Holy Kosminskaya Pustyn Monastery (village of Kostylevo).

The service was led by Bishop Feognost of Serov and Krasnoturinsky. His Eminence was co-served by the abbot of the monastery, Abbot Peter (Mazhetov), and the brethren of the holy monastery.

At the end of the all-night vigil, Bishop Theognostus addressed the brethren and parishioners with the words of an edifying sermon, calling on believers to draw spiritual strength from the example of the ascetic life of St. Seraphim - in his humility, love for others and tireless prayer work.
