His Eminence the Bishop celebrated the Divine Liturgy on the 8th Sunday after Pentecosttranslated

On July 26, the 8th Sunday after Pentecost, the day of remembrance of the holy fathers of the six Ecumenical Councils and the Council of the Archangel Gabriel, His Eminence Archbishop Savva of Tiraspol and Dubossary celebrated the Divine Liturgy in the Church of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross in Tiraspol. The clergy of the parish concelebrated with His Eminence. On this Sunday, numerous believers gathered under the arches of the Church of the Exaltation to offer prayers to the Lord and partake of the Holy Mysteries of Christ. At the end of the Divine Liturgy, glorification was performed in front of the icons of the Resurrection of Christ, the Holy Fathers and the Council of the Archangel Gabriel. Archbishop Sava offered a prayer, asking for peace for the clergy and believers, strengthening in the Orthodox faith, and, through the intercession of the Holy Archangel Gabriel, God’s help and blessing in all good deeds. The Holy Fathers of the six Ecumenical Councils preserved the purity of Orthodox doctrine for the Church, establishing the dogmas of faith and rejecting numerous heresies that threatened church unity. Their spiritual feat even today reminds believers of the need to remain faithful to the Holy Tradition and invariably follow the teachings of the Church of Christ.
