About the impermissibility of a presbyter or deacon without the will of his bishop to do what is entrusted to the bishop.
Let presbyters and deacons do nothing without the will of the bishop. For he has been entrusted with the people of the Lord, and an answer concerning their souls will be required of him.

Οἱ πρεσβύτεροι, καὶ οἱ διάκονοι, ἄνευ γνώμης τοῦ ἐπισκόπου μηδὲν ἐπιτελείτωσαν· αὐτὸς γὰρ ἐστὶν ὁ πεπιστευμένος τὸν λαὸν τοῦ Κυρίου, καὶ τὸν ὑπὲρ τῶν ψυχῶν αὐτῶν λόγον ἀπαιτηθησόμενος.
