About anathema, under the pretext of piety, withdrawing from the world and leaving their parents without care. Nevertheless, orthodoxy must be placed above respect for them.
If children, under the pretext of piety, leave their parents, especially believers, and do not give due honor to their parents, let them be anathema. However, let piety be preferred.

Εἴ τινα τέκνα γονέων, μάλιστα πιστῶν, ἀναχωροίη προφάσει θεοσεβείας, καὶ μὴ τὴν καθήκουσαν τιμὴν τοῖς γονεῦσιν ἀπονέμοι, προτιμωμένης δηλονότι παρ᾽ αὐτοῖς τῆς θεοσεβείας, ἀνάθεμα ἔστω.
