It was convenient: if someone, after the publication of the laws, converts any locality to Catholic unity and holds it for three years (even if no one demands it back), in the future this locality should no longer be demanded from him, however, provided that during this three-year period there was a bishop obliged to demand it, but he was silent. If there was no bishop, then let him not suffer damage due to the inventory, but when the widowed locality receives a bishop, from that day on he will be able to claim this locality for three years. Likewise, if a Donatian bishop converts to Catholic unity, he should not suffer any damage due to the list due to the deadline, but from the day on which he converts, let him have the right to claim the places that belong to his see for a period of three years.

Ὁμοίως ἤρεσεν, ἵνα, ἐάν τις μετὰ τοὺς νόμους, τόπον τινὰ πρὸς τὴν καθολικὴν ἑνότητα μεταστρέψῃ, καὶ τοῦτον ἐπὶ τριετίαν μηδενὸς ἀναζητοῦντος κατάσχῃ, τοῦ λοιποῦ παρ᾽ αὐτοῦ μὴ ἀναζητηθῇ, ἐὰν μέντοι ἐντὸς τῆς αὐτῆς τριετίας ὑπῆρχεν ἐπίσκοπος ὁ ὀφειλῶν ἀναζητῆσαι, καὶ ἡσύχασεν· εἰ δὲ μὴ ἦν, μὴ προκριματισθῇ ἐν τῇ μάτρικι· ἀλλ᾽ ὅτε ὁ χηρεύων τόπος λάβῃ ἐπίσκοπον, ἐξὸν εἴη αὐτῷ ἀπ᾽ αὐτῆς τῆς ἡμέρας ἐντὸς τριετίας ἀναζητῆσαι. Ὁμοίως δέ, καὶ ἐὰν ἐπίσκοπος ἐκ τῶν τοῦ Δονάτου μερῶν πρὸς τὴν καθολικὴν ἐπιστρέψῃ, μὴ προκριματισθῇ ἐν τῇ μάτρικι περὶ τοῦ ὁρισθέντος χρόνου, ἀλλ᾽ ἐξ ἧς ἡμέρας ἐπέστρεψεν, ἐχέτω ἐξουσίαν ἀναζητεῖν ἐντὸς τριετίας τοὺς τόπους τοὺς τῇ αὐτοῦ ἀνήκοντας καθέδρᾳ.[1]
