About the prohibition of the custom of organizing feasts in the church.
Bishops or clergy should not have meals in church, unless they happen to have to stop there while traveling for rest. And to the laity, as far as possible, let this kind of meal be prohibited.

Ὥστε ἐπισκόπους, ἢ κληρικοὺς ἐν τῇ ἐκκλησίᾳ μὴ συμποσιάζεσθαι εἰ μὴ δ᾽ ἂν τυχὸν ἀνάγκῃ ξενίας διαβάντες ἐκεῖ καταλύσωσι. Καὶ οἱ λαοὶ δὲ ἀπὸ τοιουτοτρόπων συμποσίων ὅσον δυνατόν ἐστι κωλυθῶσι.[1]
