On the undesirability of ordaining a presbyter who was baptized in illness.
If someone was enlightened by baptism in illness, he cannot be promoted to presbyter, for his faith is not from will, but from need, unless, perhaps, for the sake of his subsequent zeal and faith, and due to the lack of people.

Ἐὰν νοσῶν τις φωτισθῇ, εἰς πρεσβυτέριον ἄγεσθαι οὐ δύναται· οὐκ ἐκ προαιρέσεως γὰρ ἡ πίστις αὐτοῦ, ἀλλ᾽ ἐξ ἀνάγκης· εἰμὴ τάχα διὰ τὴν μετὰ ταῦτα αὐτοῦ σπουδὴν καὶ πίστιν, καὶ διὰ σπάνιν ἀνθρώπων.
