Against the bishops who violated the decrees 7, 8 and 9 of this council.
And from now on let this become well known and be fulfilled if any of us bishops living near the roads or on the main route, seeing the bishop, finds out the reason for his journey and where he is going. If it turns out that the bishop is heading to the imperial court, let him ascertain the circumstances mentioned above. And if he goes by invitation, then let there be no obstacle on his way. If he hurries to the court in order, as has already been said to your love, to show himself or at the request of some, then you should neither sign his letters nor remain in communication with him.

Καὶ τοῦτο δὲ ἐκεῖθεν μάλιστα γνώριμον γενήσεται, καὶ πληρωθήσεται, ἐὰν ἕκαστος ἡμῶν τῶν ἐν ταῖς παρόδοις, ἤγουν καναλίῳ, καθεστώτων ἐπισκόπων, θεασάμενος ἐπίσκοπον, ἐπιζητοίη τὴν αἰτίαν τῆς παρόδου, καὶ ποῦ τὴν πορείαν ποιεῖται· καὶ ἐὰν μὲν εὕρῃ αὐτὸν εἰς στρατόπεδον ἀπιόντα, ἐπιζητήσει τὰς αἱρέσεις τὰς ἐπάνω προκειμένας, κἂν κεκλημένος ἀφικνῆται, ἀπιόντι αὐτῷ μηδὲν ἐμπόδιον γίγνοιτο. Εἰ δὲ ἐπιδείξεως χάριν, καθὼς εἴρηται τῇ ὑμετέρᾳ ἀγάπῃ, ἢ διά τινων ἀξιώσεις σπουδάζοι ἐπὶ τὸ στρατόπεδον, μήτε τοῖς γράμμασιν αὐτοῦ ὑπογράφειν, μήτε κοινωνεῖν τῷ τοιούτῳ. Ἅπαντες εἶπον· Ὁριζέσθω καὶ τοῦτο.[1]
