Prohibition of obscene images.
Let your eyes see what is right and guard your heart with all care, advises wisdom (Prov. 4:25 and 23), for the bodily senses easily convey their impressions to the soul. Therefore, images that captivate the eye - whether they are presented on boards or in some other way - seduce the mind and incite the desire for shameful pleasures, we command henceforth not to be drawn in any way and in any way. If anyone tries to do this, let him be excommunicated.
