On the prohibition of clergy demanding monetary or other payment for communion.
That none of the bishops, presbyters or deacons, when teaching the most pure communion, should charge the communicant for this communion money or anything else, for grace is not for sale and we do not teach sanctification from the Spirit for money, but must teach it without guile to those worthy of the Gift. If it turns out that anyone among the clergy demands any kind of retribution from the one to whom he gives the most pure communion, let him be cast out as an imitator of the error and crime of Simon.
