About the prohibition for clergy and monks to wash in public baths with women.
Initiates, or clerics, or monks should not wash in the bathhouse together with women, and in general no Christian layman, for this, first of all, causes criticism from the pagans. If anyone is caught in this, then if he is a cleric, he will be deposed, and if he is a layman, he will be excommunicated.

Ὅτι οὐ δεῖ ἱερατικούς, ἢ κληρικούς, ἢ ἀσκητάς, ἐν βαλανείῳ μετὰ γυναικῶν ἀπολούεσθαι· οὐδὲ πάντα Χριστιανὸν λαϊκόν· αὕτη γὰρ πρώτη κατάγνωσις παρὰ τοῖς ἔθνεσιν. Εἰ δέ τις ἐπὶ τούτῳ φωραθείη, εἰ μὲν κληρικὸς εἴη, καθαιρείσθω· εἰ δὲ λαϊκός, ἀφοριζέσθω.
