On the invalidity of the Nestorians' review of the cases of lawfully convicted clerics.
As for those who were previously condemned by the Holy Council or by their bishops for inappropriate actions, but to whom Nestorius, due to his indifference in everything, and his like-minded people, contrary to the rules, attempted or will attempt to return communion or degree, we considered it right that this should prove useless for them and they nevertheless remain cast out.

Ὅσοι δὲ ἐπὶ ἀτόποις πράξεσι κατεκρίθησαν ὑπὸ τῆς ἁγίας συνόδου, ἢ ὑπὸ τῶν οἰκείων ἐπισκόπων, καὶ τούτοις ἀκανονίστως, κατὰ τὴν ἐν ἅπασιν ἀδιαφορίαν αὐτοῦ, ὁ Νεστόριος, καὶ οἱ τὰ αὐτοῦ φρονοῦντες, ἀποδοῦναι ἐπειράθησαν, ἢ πειραθεῖεν, κοινωνίαν, ἢ βαθμόν, ἀνωφελήτους εἶναι, καί μένειν οὐδὲν ἦττον καθῃρημένους ἐδικαιώσαμεν.
