About 2 ways of accepting heretics (confirmation and baptism). (In Helmsman these are rules 7 and 8).
We accept those heretics who join Orthodoxy and part of those who are being saved according to the following rites and customs. Arian, Macedonian, Sabbatian, Novatian, who call themselves pure and leftist, Quaternary, or Tetradite, and Apollinarian, if they give receipts and anathematize every heresy that does not think as the holy Catholic and Apostolic Church of God thinks, we accept, sealing with the holy ointment first the forehead, then the eyes, nostrils, lips and ears, and, sealing them, we say: “The seal of the gift of the Holy Spirit.” The Eunomians, who are baptized by one-time immersion, the Montanists, called here Phrygians, the Sabellians, who teach about fatherhood and do other intolerant things, and all other heresies (since there are many heretics here, especially those from the Galatian country) - all those of them who wish to join Orthodoxy, we accept as pagans. On the first day we make them Christians, on the second we make them catechumens, then on the third day we conjure them with three blows on their faces and ears; and so we announce them, force them to stay in the church and listen to the Scriptures, and then we baptize them.
