Remember, Lord, David and all his meekness: as he swears to the Lord, promising to Jacob to God: if I go into the village of my house, or go up to my bed: if I will give sleep to my eyes, and slumber to my eyes everywhere, and peace to my eyes: until I will find the place of the Lord, a habitation for the God of Jacob. Behold, I heard in Euphrates, and found me in the oak fields: let us go into His villages, let us worship in the place where we stood before His feet. Rise, Lord, into Your rest, You and the ark of Your holiness. Your priests will be clothed with righteousness, and your saints will rejoice. David, for the sake of Your servant, do not turn away the face of Your anointed one. The Lord swears to David in truth, and it will not be rejected: I will set you on your throne of the fruit of your womb. If your sons keep My covenant and My testimonies, which I will teach, and their sons will sit on your throne forever. Because the Lord has chosen Zion, He willed it as a dwelling place for Himself. This is my rest forever and ever, here I will dwell as I please. I will bless his catch, I will satisfy his poor with bread: I will clothe his priests with salvation, and his saints will rejoice with joy. There I will make the horn of David grow; I will prepare a lamp for my anointed one. I will clothe his enemies with cold, and in him my sanctuary will flourish.
