To the Eternal Bishop, Christ our God, I diligently pray to You: With Your highest blessing, the Most Holy Patriarch and our Orthodox bishops bless, establish, strengthen, protect and protect with peace To the saints of Your Church, whole, healthy, honest, long-living and rightly ruling, grant Your word of truth; Mercifully deliver from all opposing, visible and invisible enemies. Amen.
Oh, Saint Peter, great apostle, self-witness and companion of God, by the omnipotent right hand of your Teacher, received from the troubled waters and freed from the final drowning! Do not forget us poor ones (names), in the mire of sinful places and overwhelmed by the waves of the sea of life: give us your strong hand, help us and keep us from drowning in passions, lusts, lies and slander. Show us the mercy shown to you by the Lord, so that we do not give in to doubt and lack of faith. Teach us, our teacher, to shed tears of repentance, so that we weep bitterly for our deeds in this world. And if your tears, poured out in repentance, are covered by His mercy, your Lord and Teacher, ask for us, with apostolic boldness, forgiveness for our sins every hour. Let us live a quiet and silent life in this eternity until the hour when the Lord God, our impartial Judge, may call us. But you, O all-praised apostle, do not turn away our cry and groaning to you, but intercede for us before Christ, your Teacher, so that we may continually glorify His mercy towards us, together with the Father and the Holy Spirit, in eyelids of centuries. Amen.
Oh, holy supreme apostle Paul, chosen vessel of Christ, heavenly mysteries to the narrator, all languages to the teacher, church trumpet, the notorious ornate, many troubles for the name He who endured Christ, who measured the sea and circumambulated the earth and turned us away from the flattery of idols! I pray to you and cry out to you: do not disdain my unclean (name), raise up the one who has fallen through sinful laziness, just as you raised up the temple in Listrekh from your mother’s womb; and just as Eutychus, who was dead, you revived, raised me also from dead works; and just as through your prayer you once shook the foundations of the prison and you allowed the prisoners to do the will of God. For all that you can do, by the authority given to you from Christ God, to Him belongs all glory, honor and worship, with His Beginning Father, and with His Most Holy and Good and Life-giving Spirit, now and ever and ever eyelids of centuries. Amen.
Oh, our good shepherd and God-wise mentor, Saint Nicholas of Christ! Hear us sinners (names), praying to you and calling for your quick intercession for help; see us weak, caught from everywhere, deprived of every good and darkened in mind from cowardice. Try, O saint of God, not to leave us in sinful captivity, so that we may not joyfully be our enemies and not die in our evil deeds. Pray for us, unworthy of our Creator and Master, to whom you stand with the disembodied faces: be merciful to us by our God in this life and in the future, so that He does not reward us according to our deeds and according to the impurity of our hearts, but according to his goodness he will reward us. We trust in your intercession, we boast of your intercession, we call upon your intercession for help, and we fall to your most holy image for help: deliver us, saint of Christ, from evils coming upon us, so that for the sake of your holy prayers it will not come upon us and we will not sink into the abyss of sin and in the mud of our passions. Pray to Saint Nicholas of Christ, Christ our God, that He will grant us a peaceful life and remission of sins, and salvation and great mercy for our souls, now and ever and unto the ages centuries.
Oh, all-blessed Saint Spyridon, great saint of Christ and glorious miracle worker! Stand in Heaven before the Throne of God with the face of an Angel, look with your merciful eye on the people (names) standing here and asking for your strong help. Pray to the compassion of God, the Lover of Mankind, not to judge us according to our iniquities, but to deal with us according to His mercy. Ask us from Christ and our God for a peaceful and serene life, mental and physical health, the earth’s prosperity and all abundance and prosperity in everything, and may we not turn the good things given to us into evil generous God, but for His glory and for the glorification of your intercession! Deliver everyone who comes to God with undoubted faith from all mental and physical troubles, from all yearnings and the devil’s slander! Be a comforter to the sad, a physician to the sick, a helper in times of adversity, a protector to the naked, a protector to widows, a protector to the poor, a nourisher to the infant, a strengthener to the old, a guide to the wandering, Helmsman who is floating and intercede for everyone, your strong help to those who require everything, even useful for salvation! For yes, by your prayers we instruct and observe, we will reach eternal rest and together with you we will glorify God, in the Trinity of Saints glorified, the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, now and forever and ever. Amen.
Oh, great saint John Chrysostom! You have received many and varied gifts from the Lord, and like a good and faithful servant, you have multiplied all the talents given to you: for this reason, truly universal You were a teacher, for every age and every rank learns from you. Behold, the image of you appeared to the youth of obedience, to the young - the luminary of chastity, to the husband - the mentor of hard work, to the old - the teacher of gentleness, to the monk - the rule of abstinence, to those who pray - a leader inspired by God, an enlightener of wisdom to those who seek wisdom, an inexhaustible source of living words to those who seek good words, a star of mercy to those who do good, a star of mercy to those in charge, the rule of the wise an image, a zealot for righteousness - an inspirer of boldness, a mentor for righteousness for the sake of the persecuted, a teacher of patience: you were all, and you saved everyone. Above all of these you have acquired love, which is the union of perfection, and with that, as by the power of Divine, you have united all the gifts in your soul into one, and Here, the love shared and reconciling, in the interpretation of the words of the apostles, you preached to all the faithful. We are sinners, we each have our own gifts, we are not imams of the unity of the spirit in the union of the world, but we are vain, irritating to each other, to each other enviously: for this reason, for the sake of our gift, we were divided not into peace and salvation, but into enmity and condemnation for us. Moreover, we fall to you, the saint of God, servants of God (names), overwhelmed by discord, and in contrition of heart we ask: with your prayers drive away from our hearts all pride and envy that divides us, so that in many places we may remain one body of the church without restraint, so that, according to your prayerful words, we will love each other and with one mind confess the Father and the Son and The Holy Spirit, Trinity, Consubstantial and Indivisible, now and ever and unto ages of ages. Amen.
Oh, great and wonderful servant of Christ, Holy Hierarch Father Ignatius! Mercifully accept our prayers, offered to you with love and gratitude! Hear us, orphan and helpless (names), who fall to you with faith and love and your warm representation for us before the Throne of the Lord of Glory of those who ask. We know how much the prayer of the righteous can do, propitiating the Lord. From the years of infancy you have passionately loved the Lord and having desired to serve Him alone, you have imputed all the beauty of this world for nothing. You have denied yourself and taken up your cross; you have followed Christ. You chose the narrow and regrettable path of monastic life by your own will, and on this path you acquired great virtues. With your writings, you filled the hearts of people with the deepest reverence and humility before the Almighty Creator; you filled the sinners who fell with your wise words in the consciousness of their insignificance and their own You instructed them to resort to God in repentance and humility, encouraging them with trust in His mercy. You rejected none of those who came to you, but you were a loving father to all and a good shepherd. And now do not leave us, who fervently pray to you and ask for your help and intercession. Ask our humane-loving Lord for mental and physical health, confirm our faith, strengthen our strength, which is exhausted in the temptations and sorrows of this age, warm with fire prayers that have cooled our hearts, help us, who have been cleansed by repentance, to receive the Christian end of this life and enter into the palace of the Savior, adorned with all the chosen ones, and there together with you worship the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit forever and ever. Amen.
Oh, our good shepherd, the great holy Patriarch Tikhon! As you have appeared as a city on high, your good deeds still shine before men. We, like you, stand before the Throne of the Most Holy Trinity, with great boldness in prayers before the Lord. Look now at us, sinners and unworthy of your children, for you, who have great boldness before the Creator of all things, now we fall down and fervently pray: pray to the Lord, that He will give us determination to acquire the piety of our fathers, which you have acquired from your youth. In your life you were a zealous defender and guardian of the true faith, help us to unshakably observe the Orthodox faith. For your quiet soul has greatly succeeded in Divine humility: teach us to nourish our minds not with the turbulent human wisdom, but with the humble knowledge of the will of God. In the face of the fierce enemies of Christ, you boldly confessed the true God; with your prayer, strengthen us, the faint-hearted, so that we, too, will always and everywhere resist the spirit of godlessness and flattery. To her, saint of God, do not despise us who pray to you (names), for we ask not only for deliverance from troubles and sorrows, but for strength and firmness, generosity and love, in order to endure these misfortunes, rising up against us. Ask us for unflagging patience even until the end of our lives, peace with the Lord and remission of sins. Holy Father! Tame the winds of unbelief and unrest in our country, may the Lord bring silence and piety and unhypocritical love to the Russian lands. With your prayers may he save you from internecine warfare, may he strengthen our holy Orthodox Church: may she not become depleted of true shepherds, good workers, rightly ruling the word of the gospel truth; God forbid also the lost sheep of the flock of Christ. Most of all, pray to the Lord for strength, so that the Russian land will be reborn with holy repentance and with one heart and one mouth glorify the wondrous God in His saints in the Trinity, and the Son and the Holy Spirit, forever and ever. Amen.
